FIRST DAYS AT RATHDOWN COLLEGE - DUBLIN

Hello to everyone from Rathdown College, in Dublin!! This year, we have 16 lucky students from first, second and third year of ESO taking part in the Irish Summer Camp!

We arrived on Monday afternoon after a slightly delayed but safe flight. It was hot and sunny and as soon as we got to the college we were shown to our rooms and had a tour of the facilities and buildings in the campus.

Our second day at Rathdown was full of surprises. We started with a test in the morning, followed by the first lesson. In the afternoon, we went on our first visit off campus. We went to Killiney Hill, a well-known hill on the south of Dublin from which the view of the city and the sea is just amazing!

In the evening, we had a special Irish night. We learnt and sang popular Irish songs like "I´ll Tell Ma", "Molly Malone" and "Wild Rover", and we even attempted some Irish dancing!

There will be more news and pictures of our adventures in Ireland on this blog. Thanks for reading and feel free to leave your comments and greetings for the group.
